Aspetto: marrone scuro, schiuma abbondante, marroncino dorata, fine e decisamente persistente. Aroma: agrodolce, cacao e caramello. Intenso e delizioso. Carbonizzazione e corpo. Buonissima birra!

Bottle. Dark amber in colour, hazy with white and quickly disappearing head. Aroma of tart red fruits, some wood and bit of vinegar. In taste very fruity with some barrel notes, medium sour. Medium body, high carbonation. Dry and tart in the finish. Very nice.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a dark Burgundy-red one with a light creamy brown egg-shell colored bubbly top. Not to extreme on the aroma even if it kicks a punch when you inhale. Soft vinegar with red berries and traces of mild vinous wood. The taste is as smooth as always with Struise: Loaded with acidic red berries and woody red wine vinegar. Dragon fruit and kumquat with lots of sour gooseberries and a strong vinous touch. It’s quite drying on the mouthfeel, so much that I would call it mouthdrying. It’s pleasant to drink, somewhat unique in the taste. Interesting experience, and I’m one of those lucky guys that has another bottle that won’t be opened for many years. Already looking forward to that day. 06.02.2013

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl bottle, shared. Hazy, dark amber colour with a reddish tinge. Tart, fruity aroma with red wine barrel, oak, caramel malts, tart fruits and berries. Vanilla. Bourbon barrel. Taste is lightly source. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and tart fruity with red wine barrel. Excellent, complex Oud Bruin.
