Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy reddish brown with a dense and lacing beige head. Tart, dark dried frut - some balsamico. Medium body, tart red berries, woody, balsamico with a dry and tart finish. Very enjoyable. 270413

Bottle, Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Deep dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma had notes of dark fruits, barrel, chocolate and vinegar. Similar traits were present flavour wise which had some sourness alongside some brown sugar ,booze and spice. Dried out towards the finish. A bit odd and far from my favourite Struise offering but not without some charm.

Bottle. Dark brown with a creamy, slight tan head. Nice malty, oaky, sour, long dried fruity nose. Med bodied, easy to drink. Light soft tartness, Old dried dark fruits, soft oak, leathery tones. Very flavourful, enjoyable drink. Quite soft, but with the slight acidic bite that makes these so good.

Dark reddish (flemish origins). Smells like Kriek, gushes out of the bottle (lively carbonation, not average). Massive whitish ( a bit beige) header. Long acid finish with a wine note. I also taste raisins and a light metallic note. An original beer. Seems like a mix between "Oud Bruin" and the new generation of "Bruin".

Thinner, cherries, citric stuff, caramel, rotten fruit, pie... big sour sweet body and an insane long heavy red fuit finish... great sour ale

Murky light brown. Thin ringed head. Soft BBQ sauce, light roast. Sultry dark malt. Light sweet. Little tart on the finish. Not too much barrell. Sleek enough mouthfeel. Bottle, Garvies.

Bottle shared at Garvie’s. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds tangy dark fruits, some metal, wood. Light to medium sweet flavor with dried berries, mild acetic bite, orange rind, leather. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and tart on the finish with some tannic notes, dried and leathery berries, some herbs, wood. Lingering warmth. Nice.

Bue en bouteille. Trop acide pour être à mon goût. Fruits rouges/citron. Bien faite mais pas dans mon style.
