This blonde and slight sour beer is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Bourbon barrels & some skills out of the Wild Woesten

Tasted in July of 2013 from a 750mL bottle with the Nashville crew, big thanks to Curtis for sharing. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head that leaves average, thin lace. The nose is nicely sour lemon with some vanilla bourbon, and a whole bunch of funk that ranges from vegetal to spicy. The flavor is not terribly sour, with some tartness, lots of funk and bourbon barrel melding nicely. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long, very funky finish.

75cl bottle from trade. It pours an almost clean pale golden color with a large white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is funky and sour, lambic-like. Notes of dusty basement, lemon juice, citrus peel, big funk and brett, light notes of whisky, vanilla, booze. Taste is medium acidic and light bitter with notes of citrus juice, grapefruit, Belgian yeast, alcohol, vanilla and caramel. Finishes a bit hot, with drying eatery yeast. Overall, delicious and very close to BA lambic

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized lively creamy head. Aroma is that of a complex candy, crisp and deliously balanced: brett, lemon, cream, light whiskey, wood, nettle, grapes/berries, etc etc, awesome aroma! Flavours of brett, wood, apples, light bitter, lighter tart, fruit, whiskey, malts, whiskey grains, cake, some lemon, some light light bittery tones... Delicious! Aftertaste is a mix of apples, grass, some malts, some whiskey, berries/grapes, grainy wood, light bitter and lighter tart. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium to bit more fuller bodied and a creamy texture. Amazingly well balanced. Beautiful beer in every way!

Bottle from De Molen, shared with Hans. Blond colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of citrus with hints of vanilla and spices. Little bit sweet, bit sour. Ok beer but not the best from De Struise. Bit thin body.

Bottled 750ml (PBF IX)
Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Slightly tart, citrusy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Very fruity but same time dry flavor. Citrus, light barnyard, some sweetish notes. Slick palate. I can’t trace much of bourbon here but interesting it is.

750 ml bottle @ PBF IX. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of orange zest, butterscotch, bourbon and some brett. Flavour of rich orange zest notes, brett, some floral notes, wood, mild bourbon notes, butterscotch and sourness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Bourbon does not work with the base beer. Base beer is better as-is.
