COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

Very light and refreshing. Pours a light amber with a thin white head. Aroma is prominent from the moment it’s opened. Sour and funky with yeast and fruit. Tastes great, sour and funky. Nice sparkling feel to it.

750 ml bottle shared by Mike H., served cool in a snifter.

App.: Cloudy golden with a rim of white. Aroma: Lots of sour, some fruitiness, some funk, horse blanket,a little rubber, Lambic-ish. Palate:Medium body and nearly flat. Flav.: Tart fruits, much less funk and Lambic character, actually nice; dry/tart with little bitterness.

Not as scary as I’d thought.

Courtesy dragonstout. Pours ahazy golden yellow color topped by a small and foamy white head that quickly recedes and leaves behind a sudsy wash. The aroma shows notes of soured citrus, tart apples, lemon, and some funky yeast. It has a really nice smell to it. The aroma follows with more tart apples and sour lemons blended perfectly with the funky yeast. Everything is balanced nicely by some pale malts that sweeten things up just a bit. Medium bodied with good carbonation and clean, refreshing finish. This is a nice and easy drinking sour ale that is perfect for those hot summer days.

Bottle. Woah. A full on sour by Struise that is not a $24 bottle of Earthmonk. Pours a clear light yellow...cloudy yellow with the yeast. Little white head and not much lacing. Aroma is a little sweaty, old shoe, sour white grapes, wet leather, Brett. Taste is huge on the pediococus sourness that sticks in the back of the throat plus unripe green pears, lemons, Granny Smith apples. Very gueuze like on the palate: light, low carbonation, almost thirst quenching. A little cedar wood in the taste.

have had 2 bottles recently, 1 was just Ok. not sure if it was new / younger or older than the 2nd bottle. either way, 1 was great the other was Ok, this score is on the great one. tons of funk, horse blanket, brett, poopy diaper..yum. great texture, balanced sour, excellent finish. floral to the max, lemon and very enjoyable. easy to savor a small 33cl bottle for almost an hour. thought the 1 good bottle would age for 10+ years, other bottle i’m guessing with time would of gained this complexity, holding the 1 more I have.

Thanks to Mike for the bottle! np10v4. I have to say I like this one a lot more then earthmonk. Slightly different style but still slightly similar. Almost still bright orange pour. Aroma of lemon, Brett, and wheat. Sweet up front with a dry tart finish. Notable hints of Brett, green apples and grains.

Strong aroma of sour vanilla, oak, fruity orange and subtle barnyard. Crystal clear and bright golden amber with a rocky white head. Complex flavor with two main parts. A sweet and tart/sour combination and an underlying malt flavor that carries it. Very fruity. Light body, dry finish but with a satisfying body. Not overly thin at all.

Poured a hazy golden color with a short white ring of fizzy foam. The aroma was light funk and plenty of sour lemon. The flavor was sour lemon and a touch of funk. A bit of soap and floral crept in as well. Thin mouthfeel. Very dry. Refreshing.
