UPDATED: DEC 6, 2010 0.33l - Internal glow of the gold liquid is wonderful. Hazy liquid under a wisp of a head. Cider vinegar dominates the nose. Sourness is dominant flavor but it’s not punishing. This is really good!

Bottle. Ap: Semi hazy yellow. Ar: Vinous sweet and sour character. Crisp citrus touch. Fla: Kind of sweet actually (for a sour). Some oaky smokey thing going on in the aftertaste. Not very dry or funky. Fruity balanced with a nice citrus touch. Smooth. Ov: Very drinkable sour. I think that this good is really good for beginners who wants to learn to drink this kind of sour beers.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 polomagnifico (845) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2009
Bottle from DalzAle, thanks man! Aroma has notes of lemon candy sour funk, yeast, leather and light malts. Hazy straw yellow with an orange tinge. Flavor is sweet then sour tart goodness with a dry finish. Palate is light bodied and lively. Frack’n bonzer! Sour tart goodness without the low ph feel. Loved it.

Bottle thanks to jrob21. Hazy golden color with orange tinge, fizzy white head which quickly went to nothing. Apple, tart fruit, funk barnyard, a bit of spice, abd some mustiness. Good sour, nothing incredible though.

Traded bottle. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a small white head. Big biting sour aroma of funky fruit and brett yeast. Pretty aggressive tart punch at the first taste but that honestly mellows out nicely in the end. Maybe a little one dimensional if anything to complain about. Solid sour.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pailhead (3326) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - MAY 4, 2009
Bottle: (northern brews November ’08 sour tasting) The aroma is faint sour apples along with a hint of yeast. It pours a transparent gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin rinig round the edges of the glass. The flavor was like a sour apple cider with a hint of vinegar. Light bodied with mild carbonation. This definitely didn’t compare to the rest of the sours that we sampled that day.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 alobar (1866) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Amber clear-like apple juice with a foamy white head that was quicklu reduced to a ring. Aroma of yeast-bretannmyces, tartness evident. Flavor of brettanmyces, sour, tart with a hint of spice and fruit. Really nice beer!

UPDATED: APR 26, 2009 nose of vinegar, general acidicness. definate note of lemon or other acidic fruits but still with their otherwise lightly sweet character intact. besides, plenty of the obvious: wild funk; barnyard and the like. appearance is ultra cloudy but still a wonderful gold, like the color of the sun of a moderately warm day. flavor catches you off guard like a slap to the face. so ultra sour and tart it caused me to close my left eye and nearly recoil from the surprise of how intense its sourness could be. the dry end is also very intense, probably moreso then anything i had previously sampled. so dry in fact, it leaves the throat burning for a short instant, or perhaps longing for more. sourness can only be compared to biting down on a full, and very fresh lemon rind.
