COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

Bottle 75 cl. shared with my self - delicious. Small creamy white diminishing head with fair lacing. Hazy yellow golden body. Fruity - nice aroma of blackcurrant and raspberry. Average malt aroma and light hop aroma. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation. The flavor has an average duration, is light sweet, moderate acidic and light bitter. Very well balanced flavor. All in all a good beer with a nice fruity aroma and a acidic background.

Pours orange / copper with a small white head. The aroma has dry tart fruits, funky yeast, light underlying sweetness, nice malt backing and an overall cleanness to everything. Medium crisp body that ends up a bit sticky with some graininess in there as well. There is soft frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with a sweet/tart sweetness, star fruit, passion fruit and lots of funky wild yeast. The finish is clean, tart, sweet, refreshing and highly enjoyable. This comes with quite the price tag, but is well worth giving at least one try.

(Bottle) Pours hazy amber. The aroma is light bretty with tones of spices, vanilla and some clean malty notes of caramel. Bit citric and grapefruity. The flavour is medium tart and acid with citric undertones. The mouthfeel is dry and medium carbonated. Medium bodied.

Color of old gold. Heardly any head. The aroma is a balance between fruits and a mild tartness of Geuze. Mild tartness in the flavour as well. Some fruitiness, no hopbitterness. The Bretts have clearly won the battle.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light copper color ale with a nice pure white fizzy head with exceptional retention and great lacing. Aroma is perfectly balance between some dry hops notes and some tart yeasty notes. Taste is really well balance between some tart notes with light sour notes and a dry European hops finish. Full body with limited filtration and great carbonation. I thought this was a perfect take on a Orval type of beer and resemble what I thought Ommegang Ommegeddon should have tasted like. Re-rate (two weeks after original rating): A lot more green apple taste then what I originally remember the beer to contains. Still very good and ratings stands.

Hazy gold with a spot of white head. Aroma is tangy cider with vinous bretty undertones. Taste is very sharp, unexpectedly dry and vinous. Acetic and tart which becomes a bit cloying in the aftertaste.

Hazy dark gold with a fleeting white head. Nice barnyard aroma with lemon and leather. Medium body. Mild to medium sweet/tart citrus lemon flavors with some bready sweetness. Picked up some peppery spiciness in the mixed dreg at the bottom of this 33cl bottle. Good beer.

Cloudy golden with a disappearing head. Aroma is dominated by the Brett, grapefruit, leather and wood with some sweeter fruit notes too. Flavour is very sour, lemon juice and some wooden notes, like fresh beechwood. It’s a nice flavour, very drinkable, but not a lot of complexity though.
