COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

bottle 750ml., First impression: i thought that i bite a lemon, sour goes to my ears. Carbonated as cow brand, the kind of beer i hate. Color is nice golden foggy, aroma is lemony, it taste as a bad lambic and finish is dry. My son like it that’s why i have it in my cave. Now i have an eye on him.

Pours a cloudy gold with almost no head. Amazing aroma, nice sour and funky. The flavor is almost lighter than I expected based on the aroma. I really though it would be a lot more sour. Nice fruit flavor, mainly apple I thought, and very good tartness. I just wish it was even more sour.

smalll bottle: pours a cloudy light honey apple juice colour with a small white head that is lively and pretty. aroma is wonderful of honey and tart apple, fresh orchard bloosoms and small wafts of funk. almost perfect aroma. the flavour is bright adn cheerful with the tartness of unripe apples and good funky sour yeast. the finish is exceptional with a good tingle on the back palate and near perfect dryness. i love this beer.

Pours a lovely clear orange-gold with pretty much no head or carbonation, although it is slightly prickly on the palate. Rose-like perfume on the nose along with crabapple bite and yeasty weirdness. Full and tingly on the palate, with plenty of sour passionfruit, leathery must, finishing tart and moreish, with a faint smooth grassy finish. Quite pleasant.

Cloudy tan color. Aroma is sour with passion fruit and brett. Flavor is a pleasant mix of sourness and bready yeast. Very nice.

Complex aroma is fairly lemony. Distinct cidery flavor is very nice. Not too tart, very drinkable.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a hazy yellow body with a thin white head and nice visible carbonation. The aroma is pineapple, sour yeast/malts, subtle toast, some other fruit like mango. The flavor has a subtle metallic component with a sour blonde base. Pineapple. A tart acidic palate. Light bodied. 7, 3, 7, 4, 13 = 3.4 So, I decided to retry this beer on 9.6.10. It’s been in my fridge since I bought it, but that has both helped to keep it fresh, but also let the brettanomyces do their thing. The aroma is seemingly similar to my original rate, but has a tartness that I didn’t recall. The flavor has had its metallicness completely go away. This beer has seemingly increased in sourness from what I recall. Fruity pineapple and star-fruit on the finish with a sour bite up front. Nice sour palate has a bunch of acidity to it. This beer got better with a bunch of age on it.
