Aroma of a faint tartness, some vegetal notes including a bit of celery, and some citrus. The taste is tart citrus, caramel, faint vegetal notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Fairly drinkable.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tripelthreat (131) - Soquel, California, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Bottle. Hazy orange body with a small short-lived, sudsy head. Aroma is cider vinegar, grape skin, faint cherry notes, some musty blanket after adding the last ounce or so to the glass. Taste is more tart than sour with light sweetness. Flavors of tart apple, lemon, some faint malt.
Body is light. Nicely dry and crisp. After a bottle’s worth, little one dimensional but still very nice.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 badnewsbeers (2195) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 8, 2010
Orange amber pour with small head. Aroma full of juicy peach and apricot, sour funk and must. Reminds me of a lindemans lambic in terms of nose. Flavor begins slighty sweet and finishes tart and funky. Green apple, grape skin, and some peach here as well. Reminds me of a Flanders red here. Great stuff
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 koopa (335) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2010
330ml Bottle purchased from Liquid Solutions.
Appearance: Pours a straw yellow with some cloudiness and a 2 finger foam head.
Smell: Brett as soon as you open the bottle. But softened by some tart additions. This beer hits that borderline btw barnyard funk and stomach acid. Kind of one dimensional but a pleasant dimension.
Taste: Very tart for a pale ale. Hints of apple, pear, green grapes, and grapefruit combine with a really well refined tartness. Its extremely brett like for a belgian pale but no where near as wild as a wild ale.
Mouthfeel: Good amount of carbonation and a light body.
Drinkability: btw the mouthfeel, the carbonation and the body this one is an easy drinker but the brett restrains the drinkability.
This is my idea of a "Brett Session Brew" and I really like it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Butters (2841) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2010
Sampled at the Richmond Eleventh. Heartburn after the first sip....But I loved it. Nose is only lightly funky. Flavor is horseblanket, bretty, and extremely acidic. Good and sour, with a lemonhead citrusy note. Quite enjoyable, but far from the best I’ve had.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Kinz (2694) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2010
Pale clear yellow, slight head fades fast. Slightly sour lemony and wheaty aroma. Flavor is a match. A little bit of horseblanket barn funk slipping around too. Sort of like a mellow lambic. Really quite nice.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 rmasa (324) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 12, 2010
Light orange color, no head; aroma of sour apples and tart citrus; flavor starts very tart and sour, lemony, finishing slightly cherry sweet; medium body, high, but very lively carbonation regardless of which the mouthfeel remains pretty smooth.
