Draught. I’m ashamed to say I can’t remember where I had this in Brugge. It was at a pleasantly located restaurant named Brasserie whatsitsname. Hazy golden with thin lively white head. Funky nose of citrus. brett, spice and doughy malt. Flavour carries the same. Tart and dry finish. Beautiful balance. Great beer.

11.2 oz bottle 4/2/10 (Binny’s Plainfield) 48° in Snifter-Pours a slightly hazy orangish yellow with a small white head. Aroma of brett, yeast, citrus, and funk. Taste of sour, brett, yeast, citrus, oak and tartness. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Nice brew.

Pours slightly yellow and orangey. Smells like citrus and fruit, with some good spicy flavors. Very fizzy, and tastes citrusey with some sour notes. Pretty good overall.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright, lighter golden with a short, fizzy cap of white head. The aroma picked up apricot and lemon zest upfront paired with a hefty dose of dirty yeast.. tart and crisp.. smelled like it was going to be refreshing. The flavor was led by lemon zest and sour oaky notes that hit all parts of the palate.. fruit skins accented.. Chardonnay grapes joined lactic sourness, oak, and lemon on the long finish. Light-medium bodied with moderate sourness all the way through the palate.. crisp, refreshing, and surprisingly clean.. not exciting or groundbreaking, but it was most certainly an enjoyable drink.

POurs a murky yellow. Nose is funky brett, tart fruits, grassy, lactic acid, cereal. Flavor was mild tart, non-ripe fruits, mild apple, funky musty basement notes. Very nice beer.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2010 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with no head. Aroma of lemon, peaches, plastic, earthy funk, wheat. Nice clean sharp lemony tartness. A lot more acidic than i expected from the reviews. This was right up my alley: nice and dry, some neat earthy funk, really pleasant lemony acidic tartness. light cherry balsamic note as it warms. A very refreshing, complex, tasty beer that I gotta go stock up on.

Bottle shared by Mike. Thanks Mike! Pours light golden color with white head. Aroma is a mix of bugs, some black liquorice spice, and some subtle tart aromas. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly tart, funky, spicy, liquorice, and finishes semi dry. This was an interesting beer. I’m glad I got to try it. Thanks Mike!

Rating number 1700. Bottle I got in a trade with deliriumfest. Pours a very lightly hazed light golden amber with a medium sized white head that deflates quite quickly. Sweet bit of old apples, light funk, musky cola spice. Medium bodied, lemony acid, nice and crisp. Little bit of sweetness before some more cola nut and lemon and faint vinegar. Pretty yummy.
