COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

Strong aroma of sour vanilla, oak, fruity orange and subtle barnyard. Crystal clear and bright golden amber with a rocky white head. Complex flavor with two main parts. A sweet and tart/sour combination and an underlying malt flavor that carries it. Very fruity. Light body, dry finish but with a satisfying body. Not overly thin at all.

7 year old bottle. Maltier nose than the bourbon barrel version. Mustier nose, sour but pure and quite beautiful. Deep fruit and so so fresh and delicate after all this time.

Many thanks to Adam for sharing this nice treat! Golden yellow pour, mild white head with minimal lacing around the glass. Aroma, mild tartness. lemon, yeasty and a bit of funk. Taste, a bit of everything, slight sour but not enough the scrap the palate clean, mild funk, a bit of sweetness, finishes semi dry, very nice beer!

madvike (2682) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Bottle cellared since March ’09 - Pours clear amber with a thin foamy ring of white head. Nose is vinegar and lemon, a little basement must, and a hint of stone fruit. It’s tart. Taste is...whoa...pretty tart. Lots of lemony vinegar tartness, citrus peel, and some milky sourness through the middle. Finishes with SweetTarts, sour pear, and an odd grainy sourness. Medium-bodied and slick, with carbonation that bites a bit. A weird beer, but a fun one to open after nearly 5 years.

Habanero (2496) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2013
Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yest, barnyard and sour citrus fruit. Sour flavor that ends up tart. Medium bodied, oily text. and flat to soft carb. A very good sour indeed.

Lukaduke (2070) - Portland, Maine, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Bottle with a HUGE thanks to bu11zeye ! Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a finger of fizzy white foam. The nose is pure deliciousness, lots of lemony citrus, apricot and wet barrel notes mingle with some barnyard funk. The palate is where it really opens up its complexity with tons of stonefruit, nectarine, unripe peach, lemon zest, a health dose of acidity and a bit of barn funk to round out the fruit. The mouthfeel is full yet juicy with a balanced level of carbonation that tingles into a tart dry finish ! Damn this was TASTY !

ClubGonzo (3951) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle from bieresgourmet.be webshop. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Nose is strong bretty horseblanket and grape peel tones, lemon zest, hay, hints of sweet green apples and red berries in the back. A bit like a lambic, but milder. Taste is muscat grapes, hay, barnyard funk, tart red berries and hints of farmhouse yeast, nutmeg and grains. Light body, medium to high fermentation. Nice and refreshing sour blonde from Struise.

Troebel bier met witte schuimkraag mooie aroma van fruit en renzige aanzet. Bitter zuur en zoet zijn in balans met een pittige bittere afdronk. ---Rated By the Belleketels

Martinus (2744) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 15, 2013
Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Sour aroma, citrus, straw, lemon peel, yoghurt and bretty funk. Sour flavour, citrus, lactic acid and light acetic acid. Sour finish, citrus and lemon peel. Not the most complex sour, but nicely layered and it aged well.
(From 75cL bottle shared @ RBBSG II, Gent 2013. Batch one. From trade with Vincent (BelgBeerGeek) and opened on the spot to compare with the Bourbon BA Struiselensis. Thanks mate!)
