COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hand crafted brew is a perennial winner at beer competitions around the world. Nothing but pure water, hops, malted barley and yeast are used in the brewing process – nothing artificial, ever. It’s light-tasting and refreshing, while maintaining the essence of what a pale ale should be – amber in color with well balanced hops and a smooth finish. Whether you’re in the market for an interesting beer to serve at a holiday gathering or just a smooth, satisfying brew to enjoy with dinner, Mission St. Pale Ale fills the bill.

Mission St. Pale Ale has a thin, white head, a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, noticeable tiny white specs suspended throughout, and some small amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of pale malt, mild citrus, and maybe a kiss of the hops. Taste is the same, with minimal hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is pretty light, and Mission St. Pale Ale finishes mostly dry and easy drinking. RJT

Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pretty pale golden color with a foamy head that sticks around for a few minutes. What you smell is what you get. Mild hops with some citrus and not much else. Great for $1 and better than Bud or Coors.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a glowing yellow body, slightly amber at the edges, light foamy head. The smell had a slight flowery, lemon, grapefruit, pine, light grass in the background. The taste had a roasted caramel up front, yet faded as the beer warms, previously mentioned flavors show up as the beer warmed. The palate was pretty light, pretty sessionable, dry bitter aftertaste and finish. Overall, the best thing about this was the price, other than that, just an average American Pale Ale.

bottled 1/15/14, about a month and half ago. pours clear gold, minimal white head. nose is of mild citrus. moderate bitterness with oranges, grapefruit, and other assorted citrus wrapped in a crushable light body. not sure why everyone is scoring this low.

Smells sweet, malty. Tastes sweet, balanced. Easy drinker, for sure. Simple Pale. Enjoyable. (I had this after a Tart of Darkness, if that screws my rating in some way) ---AJ's Approval

12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass showing a hazed, golden color, with white, bubbly head froth, and good cling to the rings of doily-like lacing on the glass. The aroma was light marmalade sweetness, grapefruit & lemon, and some resiny scent. Similar notes made up the taste, plus an expressive & lingering hop bitterness that was earthy & peppery, a hint of underlying sweetness, and a good malt backing. Medium to light bodied, with lively carbonation, and a crisp finish. A decently sessionable Pale that represents the style well.

12oz bottle from Trader Joe’s in Tally. Clear yellow-gold pour with little head. Aroma is muted caramel malt and floral. Tastes are kind of muted also - not a lot going on: caramel, pine. Dries out in the crisp finish. Easy drinking if not complex.

bottle. golden with small head. very light malt with citrus hops. tastes vaguely of lemon pledge, but in this case, that’s a good thing.
