Not sure if the herbs and the spices were meant to be or just because of that one was good over its BB. Well, drinkable, sour, a bit like something never drunken before. Strange.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Plastic bottle, BBD 30/9/2014 from trade with MisoW. The beer pours out in a hazy goldish colour with low head and medium to thin body. Aroma of sourness and malt. Taste of unpleasant sourness, water, light grains, light toffee and light herbs. Thin and watery finish with an "old" taste. Didn’t enjoy it.

Stupavar Ďumbeer 12° - SK - Spice - 5% - 3.3/5
Dark gold, slightly hazed, big creamy white head, spicy nose. Ginger spikes out immediately together with rosemary, lavender, sage, leafy hops. Solid pale malts backbone. After taste is incredibly hashish-like, how surprising. Taste is sweet, low carbonation, medium bodied. Medium-long finish, spicy.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Jun ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! This one poured hazy golden body with a tiny head. Ginger aroma, but not really too harsh, mellowed with biscuit and bread malt. Flavor was lightly sweet but also lightly bitter from the other side, where both components from the nose are constantly competing. Medium to thinner in body - it was not easy to taste it after heavy ales, but definitely a good summer refreshment. More ginger in the finish, of course like a harsher lemon, not like in these ugly ginger beers. Interesting and well made, as much as it can be.

From 1L plastic bottle. Small top, light yellow colour. Nice taste of ginger and bitter hopy end. I like ginger maybe I prefer little more, but for majority its ok. Ďumbeer (ďumbier - mean ginger in slovak) is really great lager with something new, the best is cold in hot summer :)

brown plastic bottle 1000ml. -brought by Slovak guys (thanks!) Pale golden coloured, small white head, mostly ginger and whiff of alcohol in the nose. Distinct ginger taste with notes of ginger...(LOL). One-dimensional.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, stupavafest 2014. Pours in golden body, light hazy with medium frosty white head. Aroma has a lot of ginger upfront, not as spicy, mostly the honey sweet side. Taste has medium ginger sweetness, low grassy bitterness. Pretty well balanced, as the ginger is not as evading. I hate ginger but this is acceptable even for me. Body is full, high carbonation too.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to the Slovak crew! Poured a misty yellow-golden body with a white head. Sweet, creamy aroma, malts with notes of ginger. Creamy, soft taste dominated by, yeah, ginger. How surprising. But still, even despite a teeny tiny soapy notes, this is a nice enough beer, very well executed (like Ned Stark).

Lahev (z Prešpurka, d’akujem!):Fruity and pale-malty nose with mild, still well detectable traces of zazvor; golden coloured, hazy, visible carbonation; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and light bodied; lingering sweetish-fruity with spicy traces of hops and ginger. Despite the zazvor a well drinkable Bohemian Pils...
