Jun ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured a clear dark red/brown body with medium sized ocher head. Coffee and somewhat buttery aroma. Lightly bitter coffee and herbal flavor with a bit of toasted malt sweetness, being more sweet towards the finish. Thin to medium bodied. Simple, a bit more roast dunkel, fine but a bit thin.

Vernuenftiges Dunkel mit ein wenig an Malz und Karamellen. Recht trinkbar und sueffig, wenn auch leicht bieder.

Stupavar Špeciál 13% I guess. 5.3%. Anyway, poured a dark brown-red body with an off white head. Mild aroma, coffee, slightly dusty, roasty. Mild, creamy yet roasty taste, balanced, vague bitterness, light soap. Not too complex but a nice beer.

Vycap Richtar Jakub. Tmava farba, uzasna kremova pena. Vona osviezujuca, prazene slady a kava. V chuti citit sladovost, kavu a jemne kakao.

1l bottle from Cuso - many thanks, Imro! The beer pours out in a deep dark brown / blackish colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and torf. Taste of intense malt, spices, dark grains, bread and leaves. Earthy-spicy finish. Nice one.

1,0l PET Bottle directly from brewery store in Stupava. BBD: 25.02.2014 Pours Dark Brown liquid, medium brown head, Aroma: yeast, malt, cappuccino, caramel, herbs Taste: medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter, light sour. Herbs, cappuccino caramel, roasty tones, Palate: medium body, slick texture, lively to fizzy carbonation, bitter finish, quiet drinkable, perhaps too much carbonation and a bit weak body. Overall: Good dark lager, bit strange with this ?herbal taste and nose coming from yeast or malt, I don´t know? perhaps too fizzy and bit weak body, but overall a good dark lager from a small craft brewery.

Pours in black body with creamy, long lasting tan head. Aroma has light coffee notes, little bit roasty in the background. Licorice and plums. Taste is light sweet with low to medium earthy bitterness. Well balanced. Full, creamy body with soft carbonation.

Flaška:( Ďakujem, Imro!):Deep ruby-amber coloured, relatively dry toasty-coffeeish nose with a certain fruityness underneath; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, almost medium-bodied; dry coffeeish and toasty-fruity finish. Quite bitter, quite good…

Tapped at Hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava /Slovakia. The aroma od this beer features a dominant cappuccino smell accompanied by roasted malt in a minor role. The taste features cappuccino as well with a bitter sweet roasted malt finish. For me this beer features too much cappuccino and less roasted malt, espresso or dark chocolate flavors. Don’t get me wrong, this beer is great, but for people who love a cappuccino in their beer. Overall drinkable.
