shrubber85 (2462), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Sweet caramel and sour malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head. Creamy sour milk malt flavor - light grassy hops. Almost like many other German pilseners but the sour flavor in this one does something to vault this beer above the crowd. A very nice, drinkable beer. MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 27, 2007 (bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Fresh aroma; slightly sweet, slightly grainy and strawy malty nose with a good dose of herbal hops and a light grassy note. Bitter flavour with a light-sweet edge, light to medium bodied, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Initially malt-accented, slightly grainy taste with delicate herbal notes, getting stronger towards the finish. clean and fresh Lager in the Pilsener style. pivnizub (3669), Porúří, Germany Jun 20, 2007 Bottle: Pale golden, lacing white foam; sweetish-grainy nose with a distinctive dose of herbal-hayish hops, slightly metallic; delicate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied; sweet-malty finish with a dryish bitter aftertaste. A pleasant stuff..... DragonStout (1143), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 7, 2005 Oh hell yeah.Another of my fine beers i brought back with me.I am truly convinced now that the beers from The Black Forest are much better than the Bavarian beers. This one ismalty and has a medium mouthfeel. It was "meaty" nothing light here.Had some bitterness and a little bite to it.The finish was quite good. This did not leave me thirsty at all. 666seth (219), California, USA Jan 14, 2003 This one is their pilsner beer which is only available around spring. Especially brewed for the famous spring fair in Stuttgart this one has a higher alc. content. Nice golden in color, taste of malts with a nice dry finish!
