It’s golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and light bread. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes just like the aroma. The finish is slightly dry..

Clear golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Nose of sweet hops. Taste of medium bitter hops, bitter barley, straw, hay, leaves and malt. Easy to drink and quite nice but its just quite characterless and boring.

Thank you, Kyle Durham (always number 1 son), for bringing this back from Stuttgart last week. Clear light golden amber with a white foamy hrad that reduces to a head cover; speckled lace. This is a solid pilsner - malt with sweetgrass and biscuit, joined midway through the palate by clean european hops, flowery with a polite edge, only to allow more sweet in the finish. Aroma matches taste precisely. Particularly drinkable, would be a shoo-in for sessions. As good a pilsner as I’ve ever enjoyed.

(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of chestnut honey and heavy dandelions, with hints of popcorny wheat, pale malts and fallen leaves. flavour is mostly the same, popcorn and floral hops, with hints of pepper, cardboard and barnyard. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Malty and caramelish character in the aroma with light hoppy notes. The flavour is sweet malty and grainy.

500 ml bottle in Germany. I can remember slurping down a lot of these at the Bad Cannstatter Fest back in the 80’s. Clear, pale gold color with a soft white head. Aroma is malt and fruits. Taste is sweet malt and the palate contrasts with a sharp long lasting bitterness that fades tthe more you drink it into a mellow beer..

The bottle looks good, very similar to the Volksfestbier. Aroma like a sweet wine. Tastes not as sweet as exspected, a bit dry and scratchy, a bit yeasty in the background. An average beer!

Bottle. Sweet caramel and sour malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head. Creamy sour milk malt flavor - light grassy hops. Almost like many other German pilseners but the sour flavor in this one does something to vault this beer above the crowd. A very nice, drinkable beer.
