Oh man, I just like Stuttgarter beers. They are like home but also so far, far away. And I am really happy that I’ve got some more beers of this brewery in our "cellar" left.... This one has got a clear deep golden colour with steady head and crisp body. Nose of malt. Taste of medium bitter ripe hops, ripe grains, oatmeal cookies, straw and roses. Very easy and nice to drink, enjoyed it a lot.

Ein ueberraschend ausgewogenes Pils, das zwischen einer leichten Wuerze und einer minimalen Bitterkeit schwankt. Zum Ende hin wird es immer sueffiger und hat dadurch noch ein paar Extrapunkte geholt. Nicht schlecht, wenn auch nicht die Krone der Schoepfung. Dennoch klar zu empfehlen.

500 ml bottle. Typical pilsener aroma and taste. A tad on the bitter side. Fruity, mildly bitter palate. Not bad.

Clear golden colour. Spicy aroma and taste with a lightly bitter, likewise spicy aftertaste. Good average.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy and open, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, crisp hops, hoppy, grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121104]

Brown 0.33 litre bottle sappled in my hotel room while visiting Stuttgart. Best before 05/2010, drank 09/2009. A good solid white foaming head sat on top of a pale golden liquid, as you’d expect from a German Pilsner. A hoppy, straw type aroma hit my nose, nothing big or offensive, just a few hops and a bale of straw! Dry throughout the tasting, typical clean and clear feel to it, a Mr Average Pilsner in almost every way.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear golden with a medium white head. Lots of straw in the aroma, but also malty and lemonade. Light bitter taste with a more malty ending.

Pilsner straw body white head, mild sun fruits, spiced, floral, finish is neat.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Das Bier kommt mir extrem hell vor. Grobporige Blume, die recht lang erhalten bleibt. Geschmacklich kanns ebenfalls glänzen. Leichte Hopfendominanz, würzig frisch.

On tap at pub in Stuttgart. Dark golden color with huge long lasting white head. Aroma of malt, grain, with fruity hints. Taste, surprisingly bitter, with malty hints. Nice long bitter finish. Surprisingly good.
