3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Schroppfy (2353) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2011
Quite pale yellow, great white head dies after some time to a small ring. Classic sharp hay aroma, one dimensional but wonderful. Flavor is moderately-to-highly bitter, with just a touch of sweetness (bread, white sugar). Herbal, leafy green bitterness, along with pepper. Very slightly sticky palate. Great pils from Quack-Duck, thanks!
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Bierkrug (1921) - Idar-Oberstein (In Iraq), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2010
330 ml bottle in Germany. Pale yellow color with thick white staying head. Aroma is full of hopps and citrus. Taste is rather sweet and fruity for a Pils. The palate ends the pleasure however. Which is rather bitter and lasting. A good beer just not my style at all.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 pivnizub (8046) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2009
Bottle (Thanx to the Lake of Constance!): Golden, a bit unclear with a greenish shenn; medium white head with a nice lace; light aroma of pale malt, distinctive nose of herbal, aromatic - almost piney - hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering aromatic, light dryish hoppy finish. Superb ! Can’t believe, that this perfectly crafted Pilsener was made by a giant brewery.........
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 6, 2009
(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a big foamy white head. Light-sweet malty aroma with a surprisingly aromatic and citrus-fruity, slightly herbal hoppy touch. Mild bitter flavour, light bodied but not watery, crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with herbal hops from the beginning, leading into a dry and aromatic hoppy finish. A pleasant surprise, big thanks to Quack-Duck (02.IV.09).
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Quack-Duck (6880) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2009
bottle. Clear yellow colour, large white head, aroma of ’green’ hops. Medium-bodied with a good malty background and some really nice resiny grassy hop flavours. A pleasant surprise.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ComradeK (749) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - JAN 12, 2009
Bottle at Stern Kebap, Stuttgart. As the local brew, I figured it would be worth a try. Not strictly speaking true. The initial bitterness is strong and the carbonation mild, with a crisp finish. It looks good, yet there is an odd taste and it is far too sticky on the palate. All in all it is a reasonable easy drinking beer, but don’t bother going all the way to Stuttgart for it.

The bottle looks really noble. The beer in the glass is okay. Fine aroma. Tastes modest spicy, very drinkable - good beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9997) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2007
Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Pale yellow color, white head, nice lacing. Grassy hops and suprisingly barnyardish notes in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Aggressive hopping. Cut grass flavor which is quite bitter in the aftertaste. Stylish example of good German pils.
