Bov (9050) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 7, 2005
clear and bright golden colour, nice creamy head, light herbal aroma with some buttery notes, a bit oily with a robust malt body, long malty and herbal finish with a solid bitterness - would be great with a more pronounced aroma

Bottle:Pale golden with a greenish sheen, small white head; moderate sweet pale malty nose with some grassy hops underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky nevertheless; shorter sweetish and cardboardy finish with a bitter aftertaste. Not great............

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2010
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foamy head. Discreet aroma of grainy malt with shades of honey and hops far in the background. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Sweet pale malt-character with a shy grainy touch; sweet malty and muted hoppy finish with a very restrained level of bitterness. Easy-going but nothing more. 17.X.10

Quack-Duck (7522) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 9, 2008
bottle. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized head. Malty and hoppy, a bit thin, not overwhelmingly full-flavoured. There is a fruity hint present, slightly sourish. Has its own character.

Rune (7356) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 27, 2006
330ml bottle at Cafe Nescafé on the Calwer passage in Stuttgart. Bright yellow. Creamy foam. Lack of aroma, perhaps a slight touch of hops. Bitter palate and finish. Unusual dose of bitterness for this kind of beer. More than an average light lager (21.04.2006).

Golden crisp yellow with a mild head that doesn’t stick around long. Medium bitterness that lingers awhile. Ends up with faint sourness.

Aroma subtle - hops, grain but a bit sour. Ligher flavor with moderate bitterness. Had this in a can. Probably tastes much better in a nice big mug while sitting in a beer tent during Oktoberfest.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2010
Can at The Penguin. Pale gold with a collapsing billow of suds. Aroma honey and crackerbread, with some slight almond edging in. Clean and crisp with fresh crackery malt, grassy/lightly coniferous hop and even lemony hints- all backed up with some genuine bite in the finish. Some quality here, especially considering it’s tinned.

500ml can. It is decently hopped but I would not call it a typical pils. It isn’t refreshing enough.
