Ein Pils. Ein einfaches Pils mit einer leichten Sueffigkeit, etwas bitter im Abgang und gerstig im Aroma. Trinkbar, ok, keine Sensationen.

*Old rating. Best before 07.10. 0,33l. Nice crisp Pils. A bit grassy, dry with a moderate but nice bitterness. Nice and crisp.

Thanks to Vince again for another hook-up! This I think is the last of his stash from Germany. Poured a blond body with a huge white head. It died down quickly revealing a lightly skunked but grassy aroma. Some biscuity notes as well. Pleasant malt and hops crispness in the taste. It was hot at his house Monday night, so this really refreshed us. Palate was well rounded with light bitterness. Finish was more grassiness, light hops bitterness and some lighter buttered biscuit notes. Good beer!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Flavor a little bit dry, modest malty, well balanced finish. Good beer!

Can by 15.05.13. Grassy nose with light malt and adjunct, bright clear yellow body with a sudsy white head. Soft watery body with low bitterness, not super clean but drinkable.

0.3 litre vase shaped glass, on-tap in the ’Lammstube’ Bad Krozingen on 19th Sep 2013. Looked good in it’s correct fluted glass, bright, clear and clean, just like a golden Pilsner should look in fact. No great aroma, like most Pilsners: some grainy hope notes maybe. Gets my standard score of three for a non-smelling lager/pilsner. The taste was sharp and crisp with the hops pushing the malt content into the background. Refreshing, but without really having any true flavour to get into, it is OK and I suppose typical of the many beers brewed around the world in this style.

Bottle 50cl, a clear yellow beer with medium white head. Nose is on peppery hops and vegetable notes. Aroma is malty with nit notes and medium sweet, grassy hops which gives an toasted touch at the finish, good bitterness on aftertaste.

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a dense frothy white head. aroma of floral hops and grass, with some notes of straw, very clean. flavour is very subtle, with notes of floral and citric hops and underlying hints of grain. light-bodied with medium carbonation. good, but almost too clean.
