Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 13, 2008
Golden colored with lively carbonation. Medium sized white head. Sweet and slightly buttery aroma with softly hopped note. Medium bodied. Flavor is somehow metallic with dry hops, mild butter and fruits also here. Dry butter lasts in aftertaste.

On draught in Stuttgart. Good bitterness. Biscuity pale malt back. Medium bodied. Dryish finish. Nice.

asheft (2678) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2008
[bottle] Aroma is loaded with fresh noble hops as well as sweet, base malt. Lemon and caramel notes. Clear straw with bubbly white cover. Pleasant hops flavour and bitterness that are well balanced, but nothing extraordinary. A bit too bitter for the pleasant but subtle malt flavour--even some ethanol notes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, lasting nutty bitter finish.

bartlebier (2483) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2014
33cl bottle bb07/2014, Edeka Olgastrasse. Revisiting this +3 years after my last regular encounters with this everywhere in D-0711. Your typical once-regional, now Radeberger-owned standard Pilsner: straw, dry grains, just enough hops (no extract in this case: bonus point) to elevate it above lager/Helles level. Finishes on a surprising mineral and old lemon note, indeed McTapps. With Hofbräu there always was this metallic and stale quality that made it 2nd choice, even in my swilling days.

#1211 Ein dünnes Bier ohne echten Malzkörper; dafür mit sehr säuerlichem Geschmack und blechernem Hopfen im Abgang. Nicht mein Bier!

Hmmm, a little non-assertive overall. Of course a quite lovely aroma, even less bitterness than many and much more soft white baked bread with sugar/honey elements. Very subtle flower/herb components to the aroma. Very light golden color, very nice head retention. Flavor is definitely honeyed, moderate to high sweetness with only low to moderate bitterness. Good. Thanks to Quack-Duck!

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Sieht im Glas aus wie ein typisch deutsches Pils, der Antrunk ist sehr mild. Leicht hopfenbetonter Mittelteil. Da gibts nix zu meckern. Trinkt sich wirklich gut... Gewinnt frisch gezapft wohl einiges an Reiz.

Bierkrug (2132) - - JUN 24, 2011
500 ml bottle in Stuttgart Germany. Pours a gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, weak and has with malt as well. Floral taste with a thick creamy palate. Not too bad really.

Pours bright yellow, head is gone quickly, but carbonation is lasting..on the sweet side, slight bitterness in the finish, but not much, abit grassy as well, very easy drinking, refreshing, if not much else. ok.
