NOTE: Following the closure of Malton brewery in 2004, all Suddabys branded beers have been contract brewed at Hambleton, Brown Cow or Cropton. However it not always clear which beers are currently brewed where.
Suddabys award winning Auld Bob is a rich dark full-bodied ale brewed with a combination of two hops and the finest English malt to produce a full flavoured and unique ale.

Cask conditioned - no sparkler Malt Shovel Northampton BF. Malty nutty aroma. The beer is almost black but has russet tints to it. Chewy malty flavour typical of the style. A well balnced tasty beer.

White Cliffs Winter Ales Fest. Gravity. Dark tangy old ale. Scarlet hued. Leads with the dark malt and finishes even darker. A splendid balance of sweet and bitter, both hovering like shimmering dragonflies, but never settling on either scale. Increasingly pleasant at the end of the festival with the band playing good stuff and chatting with good company.

rauchbier (3394) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2002

Bottled. Almost black-red in colour, moderate head and plenty of condition. Fruit and roast barley nose. Complex body with hints of licorice raisins toast and an underlying hop bitterness to prevent it from being too sweet. Becomes dry and winelike in the finish.
