bottle from pivnizub! Hazy brownish colour, fluffy off-white head. Grainy malt flavours with a touch of yeast and fruit.

Ein besonderer und durchaus seltsamer Biergenuss, denn das dinkelmäßige Korn haut rein, als würde man Weizentoast trinken. Nicht schlecht, aber sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hat was von Brottrunk und das ist nicht immer das wahre.

Light milky golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of gentle yeast. Taste of toast, white bread, sour milk, mild hops, low yeast and low malt. Got better the warmer it got but very average, dull, dusty and boring though.

500 ml bottle from Wasanas in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Pours a nice cloudly orange brown with a fine off white head. Aroma is Bananas, cream and wheat. Taste is spicy and full of sharp flavor. Palate is mellower than the taste. Good stuff.

Good looking weizen, with nice aroma of bananas and something sweet. The dinkel wheat gives it a little differenet character, but taste is sort of flat, mouthfeel is thick, but there’s no lingering taste on the palate. I’ll chalk it up to using the different variety of wheat.
