500 ml swing top bottle, bought in Germany. ABV 5.5%. Poured into an english pint glass. Dark amber colour on the bidy, no much of activity in it. Big head, slighty off-white, with good retention and no lacing left behind. Aroma of caramel mostly, with some grass and light hop notes. Bitter taste, again caramel is the dominant flavour. Tasteful. Medium thick on the body, average carbonation. Overall a nice surprise, as it looks cheap with its childish label, and although not complex or anything, it was really tasty.

Quack-Duck (7958) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2013
bottle, kin dly donated by pivnizub! Hazy amber-golden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty with a grainy character, some resiny hops in the finish.

Bügelverschlußflasche (mady by Wernecker!):Hazy, light amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, some vegetables in the grainy-yeasty nose, hops are pretty subdued; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, chewy MF, almost medium bodied; light to moderate sweetish-grainy finish, followed by a slight hoppy bitterness. Not too bad, but not completely convincing...

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Milky/unpale golden colour with steady head. Taste of mild hops, dark grains, spruce, grass and caramel. It just doesn’t fit.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Very simple and dull Kellerbier what offers nothing special nor delicious. Taste of old nuts, low malt, long-opened cereals and leaves.

Swing top bottle, found in a Marktkauf in Nordhorn. Deep golden color. Floral aroma with bready notes. Malty bready flavor with floral notes. A soft hopbitter finish. Medium bodied. Hint of caramel. Well balanced.
