Draft at brewery. Dark brown body with a tan, diminishing head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and grains. A hint of coffee. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Distinct metallic taste in the finish. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Below average to average sweet stout. The metallic, tangy taste in the finish is a big drawback.

On tap in Evanston. Pours a pure black color with a medium brown head. A roasted malt and coffee nose. The flavor was very nice; roasted malts, milky, some sweet chocolate, a bit of sour plumb which is great. Very good.
