The head is ok, the body gold-brown and cloudy. The taste is interesting hoppy, Cascade, Amarillo, hoppy-creamy, intensive & tasty, very hoppy, creamy. Interesting for a beer from Germany! 11/13/12/12/-/12

Had it last night, found it really great. Nice hoppy aroma, not too bitter (but bitter enough to have the Germans I was with scrunch up their faces in disapproval), cloudy orange colour. Definitely pleasantly surprised.

Draught. Cloudy gold with a fluffy head. Aroma of citrus hop. Flavour is quite bitter with a grapefruit back. Palate is dry bittersweet

Tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy gold with a fine white head. Mild aroma, some citrus, some light toast and leaves. Medium sweet flavor, toasty sugars, alcohol, light ripe citrus. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish, more toasted malts, mild caramel, faint pine. Improves slightly as it warms up, but still not a very impressive attempt at an IPA.

Draught ee-pay-ah. Cloudy golden with some brown overtones, lacing sudsy head. Nice to actually be able to smell citric PNW hops from a German pale ale. Creamy medium-full body. Not really bitter but lightly sweet. Light resin, low caramel, malt, otherwise lots of juicy hops, mildly soapy. Happy to have it again.

Tap @ the brewpub. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Could use some more aroma hops. 111211
