Clear pineyness. Expectation of IPA-like bitterness, but everything in this beer tastes a bit dialed back. Malt definitely comes through instead of hops, but overall tastes just a little off from what I want in a pale ale style beer.

On tap. Poured a hazy copper color with a decent head. Aroma of citrus, grain and malt sweetness. Taste of citrus, caramel, grain and fruit. Moderate bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, crisp with a clean feel to it. Not too bad.

Bottle from Safeway. Clear light orange golden coloured pour with a lively loose sticky off white head. Aroma is grassy leafy citrus, biscuit grains, light pine needle. Flavour is semi sweet, base grains with a little caramel, earthy pine, grassy hop. Aggressive mostly clean hop bitterness. Palate medium light, semi sweet, little resinous, highish carbonation.

Tap at Ciceros in st Louis pours bright orange hue with a soapy foamy 1" head and awesome lacing. Nose is tart citrus grapefruit what you would expect. Flavors showcase the bitter grapefruit straight up front. Big lingering bitterness and some nice toasted grain cereal malt profile. Think this has a tad of oxidation. Not bad but would like a fresh sample sometime.

Brown bottle, Target, San Francisco. Scent is dense hops. Pours medium opaque amber with a thin white head subsiding quickly. Scent is light lager, lemon. Taste is an excellent creamy hopped zest with a peppery bite. Finish is smooth and creamy. Great.

Bomber. Color was a rich Amber with a big frothy off white head. Strong aroma of flowers, pine, fruit and caramel. A nice blend. A bit more malty in the flavor. Caramel and bittersweet, quite fruity with a northwest style hopping. Good stuff

Pours a golden amber color with a white head. Floral, grapefruit, mango, dank hop and bread aroma. Grapefruit, tangerine, pine, bread, floral and grass flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Citrus, floral and pine finish with a lingering bitterness. Has that distinct imperial lager flavor.
