Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, grapefruit and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry ginish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and light earthiness with a crisp dry moderately bitter finish.

Pours a golden amber color with a white head. Floral, grapefruit, mango, dank hop and bread aroma. Grapefruit, tangerine, pine, bread, floral and grass flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Citrus, floral and pine finish with a lingering bitterness. Has that distinct imperial lager flavor.

Bottle. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of hops with some citrus and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more hops, citrus and grass. Nice.

This beer tastes like it could sell for ten bucks, yet it managed to knock our socks off at almost half the price. Fruity pebbles in the nose had me stoked with nostalgia. Heavy lawnmower clippings and a wonderful, smooth finish. If this is what an IPL tastes like, then Sudwerks made us believers. We’re coming back to this one.

Pours clear copper with an off-white head. The aroma has clear smooth rounded caramel malt, some pine, grapefruit, light cream and some floral hops. It has a medium / light body that’s got a good amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with dry crusty malt, lager smoothness, grapefruit zest, pine and a gentleness to the hops. The finish has some spice, wood and crackers. Very nice.

Killer price for Safeway Card members this whole summer! Slight white head. Great piney aroma. Dark orange body. Very clear with micro fine bubbles. Tons of hop character in the flavor, with the bitterness ramping up on the palate in the end. Hard to believe this is a lager. It puts many ales to shame, hop-wise. I’ll definitely buy it again!

Tap. Pours pale clear golden, small creamy white head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is light, but a pleasant grapefruit and pine mix. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, nice traditional pine forward hops, with citrus and grapefruit notes. Medium body, carbonation a bit low. Decent.

Bottle with the wife at Mohican lodge. Pours clear Amber with frothy white head that stays creamy throughout. Nose is cascade minty pine and just lovely. Pilsen malts, dry earth hop and malt notes along with a drying bitterness. Drinkable and better than most hopped up IPLs ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This is clear honey gold with a big off white head that finally fell. Cool lacing. A pleasant Cascade hop aroma. Big fruit. The flavor is exactly that, too, and I do like Cascade hops. Classic and just good. Citrus and tropical. Midglass it seems like the flavor is going to be spicy but then they become cinnamon, and then it becomes caramel malts. A cool effect. A little of all of that remains. The hops here are just perfect. The beer allows them to do what they do best but does not ask too much. This is just a delightful beer. I like everything about it.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours a translucent orange-copper color with a monster sized off-white head that has great retention and really attractive lacing. The nose is citrus and pine. Medium plus body and a very smooth mouth feel. Flavor runs to grapefruit, pine, peaches or maybe apricot. on tasty caramel malts. Long any dry finish made up of bitter citrus. This a remarkably well balanced and delightful beer and could make me abandon IPAs for IPL.
