Bottle with Fantasia, murky hazy orange with medium white head, sweet malt, german, plum, lemons, peppermint, and wheat. Medium body. Not usually my thing, but this was drinkable.

Bottle thanks to joeneugs. Pours hazy gold. Nose of wheat, citrus, lemon, and believe it or not, polish sausage. Very full body, full flavored. Heavy wheat, and honey. Lemon citrus finish with maybe some kind of spice, clove? Not bad, pretty good Hefe.

A good hefe but not extraordinary. Good balanced flavor with a pleasant aftertaste. Similar to widmer's hefe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma is fruity and grassy. Taste is similar, but has some hints of banana and spice to it. The wheat is well balanced with the other flavors and is an overall solid beer.

A very nice hefeweisen. Pour a cloudy orange with a white head. Smells a little fruity. Tastes great, very refreshing. Fruity and hints of vanilla. Had on tap in napa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours deep gold with weak white head. The aroma offers up smooth cloves, a bit of banana and earthy grains. The taste has pretty bold cloves and sugary sweet maltiness rolling into some banana and then some vague, maybe noble hoppiness. Decent enough Hefe.

Bottle at Pigs Ear 2011. sudwerk hefe weizen 4.5%. hazy pale gold. Thin lasting white head. Quite fruity for a hefe. Cereal kicks in in mouth. Way too cold. Some yeast some esters but mostly cereal. Light in mouth. 3.2

A pretty decent example of the style. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was banana, clove, orange and was very bready. The flavor was bread, clove, orange and honey. Medium finish and moderately full bodied. Solid.
