grainy honey aroma, kinda cloudy, weak honey flavors not enough crispness or hop presence

On draft. Pours a clear golden with a well formed white head but very little effervescents. The aroma is spice and grass, light biscuity malts. Body is med. light with very low CO2 for the style. The flavors are on the hoppier side; again spice and grass. The finish is dry but shows a great deal of oxidation. I would like to try this bottled.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and some malt - quite clean. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and some bread, leading to a medium bitter finish.

Little aroma and only a vague malt flavor. Made for the Bud drinkers I guess. Good light pils but without distinction.

Golden yellow body with small white head. Flavor is unspectacular with fizzy carbonation. Finish is somewhat flat and buttery.

Bottle. The aroma is grassy and malty. Flavor is similar, with some bread crust and zest along with the grass and malts. Crisp finish, slightly sweet. Very tasty for a pilsner!

[355ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Pours a golden clear yellow with a beamingly bright head. Plenty of rising carbonation. Soft, sweet aroma of biscuity malt. Slightly tangy on the palate, leading to a bitter, crisp finish. A decent pilsner – some faint flowery hop in there, the whole thing is (as you’d expect) very drinkable [09032012]

Bottle 35,5 cl. Clear yellow with a white head leaving some lacework. Aroma of malt and perhaps some flowery hops. Medium body, sweetish malt and a little sulphur. Dry and lightly bitter finish. 100709

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2006 Date on bottle says 04/01/03. Bought in a cheap liquor store in downtown Reno (that also still had 03 Celebration). Small floaties and a pale gold color, light head, fairly retentive with no lacing. The nose is metallic with light hops and and grainy malts. Tastes a bit sweet and fruity with a nice fresh taste of hops and acidified malts. Clean brief finish, perhaps a bit old almost but a decent pils. Update: Had a newer bottle and it was nearly identical, maybe .1 higher and w/o the light metal note, still crispy.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 stubby (334) - Santee, California, USA - MAR 26, 2006
A refreshing summer beer. Borderline light for this style, though better than most American pilseners. A pale lager without the corn or rice spritzy known in macrobrews. I would like more hop bite and aroma. Not as "rich" as adertised, in my opinion.
