COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship pale ale. Completely authentic in style, bursting with fresh whole flower American hops and yeast. Immediately present and fragrant nose dominated by a spicy bouquet of toasted caramel, citrusy notes. Rich Copper in color, delivering that expected caramel palate, complemented by residual malty sweetness and lingering finish. Expect a world class Pale Ale.

Bottled, thank Bov! Hazy amber, mid sized head. Gentle hop aroma with grapefruit and canteloupe. Dry with light-medium body. Soft bready malt covered with a wealth of grapefruity hops, long salty bitterness. Balanced and very moreish. Nice and uncomplicated.

Bottle from Coop, Crissier
Amber-copper color, bright, with generous creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, cereals, dust, yeast. The mouthfeel is very dry, the body is lean; harsh flavor of caramel, roasted malts, cereals; strong bitterness, but without noticeable hop qualities.
Correct brew, nothing special.

from Coop, Biel - clear dark amber-bronze beer under a long lasting and firm beige foam; correct lacework; decently hoppy and malty aroma showing notes of biscuits, red fruits marmalade and a hint of spices; creamy palate and a good malt backbone; fairly bitter and slightly dry; long hoppy and gently spicy finish - very nicely balanced and deeply drinkable

Bottle (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!): Light amber coloured, hazy to cloudy, mid-sized "dirty" white head, herbal-hoppy nose with a distinctive bready-fruity background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium-bodied, quite soft; lingering piney-hoppy finish with a malty counterpart. Good....

A Mes rate. Bottle from Bachser Mart and drunk in the Novotel in Zürich.
Attractive amber brown colour with a decent white head that settles quickly to a thin film. Malt upfront again with a good earthy, nutty character. Light hoppy overtones with some delicate grassy bitterness in the finish. Well balanced and easy drinking. Decent stuff.

500 ml bottle @ WPBF 2013.
Pours a hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma of grassy hops, really strong and pungent gooseberries and nettles. Flavour of grassy hops, caramel malts, gooseberries, nettles and hay. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and hard carbonation. Finishes harsh, grainy and strong on berries. Somehow I find this to be more of an amber ale rather than an APA.

Pours hazy golden color with a large frothy head. Aroma of caramel, some goose berry bush and some fruity hops. Flavor of mandarin, yeast, grass and some hops, some goose berries too. Lots of carbonation, dry palate.
