3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and sweet malty. Flavour is quite much the same with a crisp maltyness and finishes in a quite strong grapefruity tart bitterness. Also some zesty notes in the finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at home. Pours a lemon-yellow-gold colour with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus fruit, fresh and zingy. Lovely, hop-forward flavours with an appreciable but balanced amount of caramel sweetness. Dangerously quaffable!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at Euston Tap. Blond and clear with almost no head. Aroma is grapefruit pineapple bit b.o. hops. Taste is not much different. Pretty flat, and feels pretty strong. I donít quite seem to get Summer Wine beers.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a thin head. Strong orange and lemon hop aroma predominate. The high hopping continues into the mouth with a clean zesty fruit taste which is quite dry and surprisingly short lived. Enjoyable example of an IPA, if a little pedestrian.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow for Battle of the Roses Beer Festival (18 Feb 12) - bitter lemon aroma, clear deep gold ale with a small off-white head, strong citrus and sour aftertaste, could finish this one

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle. Pours cloudy blonde/yellow with a generous head. The nose is light but there is grapefruit pith, followed by a more obviously citrus note, probably lemon. The taste has grapefruit, maybe with some earthiness and vegetal spice notes, too. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a clean finish. Overall, a good beer but starting to get bored with zingy IPAs.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask @ The Bon Accord. Mild hoppy aroma. Golden yellow colour, good head. Biscuit citrus hop flavour, bitter aftertaste. Somewhere between a golden ale & IPA.
