India Pale Ale
Diablo is our flagship IPA, loaded with US hop varieties, dominated by the ‘Citra’ variety. Big tropical flavours & aroma punctuate, mango, lychee & papaya fruits abound, with notes of resinous pine leading to a lasting bitterness. A devilishly good US West Coast inspired IPA.

Bottle from VInmonopolet Sørlandssenteret. Straw to golden color. Some white head. Malt, pine, grapefruit nose. Medium and grainy mouth feel. Low carbonation. Hay, pine, some grapefruit, some malt flavour. Bitter. Surprisingly malt heavy. The grainyness ruins it a bit.

Bottle, at Øltorget, Vulkan. It’s a hazy, golden beer with a small, off-white head leaving lacings. There’s lots of grapefruit on the nose, pine cones, some tropical fruits and a touch of malts. The flavor is quite bitter, the hops dominates for sure, with grapefruit, pine cones and some tropical fruits. The malts are pushed to the back, leaving just traces of sweetness. Medium body, dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting bitter finish with grapefruits and bitterness. A tasteful, easy drinkable beer with a tad too much bitterness I think. 140503
