330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange golden colour with a small head. Aroma of fresh lemon, grass and biscuit. Juicy flavour of orange, citrusy bitterness, straw and fruitcake. Medium bodied, a bit thin mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

On cask at Leyton Technical 8th Feb 14. Pours slightly hazy golden with a very flat, thin head, little to no fizz. Smells quite hoppy, but less than most modern west coast IPAs. Taste yo-yos between citrus-sugary sweet and bitter in a pleasing way. Medium hops linger for a short time on the finish, which is more pleasing than the taste. Light, refreshing body, and high ABV is well concealed, but I’m not overly convinced by the sweet taste, even if it was novel.

Pours amber/golden with a slight haze. Malty on the nose, with a touch of grapefruit coming through this also lingers into the taste but is soon kicked out of the way by a big hop finish. It becomes just a little one note this beer the longer you drink it. (rating backlog, tasted on or around 16/06/13)

Cask at the Southampton Arms. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grassy hop with a little creamy barnyard. The flavour is medium to weak bitter light sweet with a malty hop bitter light pepper spice palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle at Les Crępes de Sophie in Shrewsbury on 19th Dec 13. Pink grapefruit feel throughout this beer; poured a hazy almost dirty old gold colour, on top a white covering. The aforementioned grapefruit came strong and fast as I sniffed and sipped the offering, other hop esters and flavours came and went but the citrusy grapefruit refused to budge or be replaced by anything else: peach notes and a floral hint or two tried to express themselves but got put firmly in their place. Nice brew: not my normal type of tipple but I really enjoyed it. The body depth was just right and it held the alcohol and flavours together very well.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. No bubbles. Nice lacing. Passion fruit aroma with a hint of mint and coriander - I’m instantly reminded of BrewDog’s Dead Pony Club. The flavour is bright and fresh - tropical fruit with a hint of spearmint. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Spritzy carbonation. A light, refreshing IPA.

330ml bottle. Minimally hazy, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, some pine, lots of tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, grapefruit. Taste is dry, piney hoppy, additionally some tropical fruit, half-waylasting bitter hoppy finish. Solid IPA.

Bottle at Bishops Arms Gamla Stan. A bit hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of hay, grapefruit, apricot and resin. Also some malt. The finish was bitter. An ok one.
