On tap at The Rake, London. Nice looking pour, a well carbonated, bright glowing gold. Nose is sweet and hoppy, gives the impression of potency even though it’s not a double IPA. Body is medium, palate a bit slick. Flavors are hardcore pine and hop resin, bitter all the way with just a perfunctory nod to the sweetness in the nose. Not bad.

Cask at The Macc, Macclesfield, Cheshire. Hazy pale gold with a thin almost white head. Some citrus hop aroma, some blackcurrant. Flavour has more hops and some decent bitterness. Not wowed but certainly drank well.

Very hazy golden with a small white head that almost disappears completely, ok lacing. The aroma is incredibly fresh with stunning amounts of grapefruit, also plenty of mango and other tropical fruits. The flavour is strong and also very grapefruity, in addition to tropical fruits and some berries. Not much malty notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Very crisp and refreshing beer!

Bottle @ home, thanks John! Aroma is lovely piney citrussy and other fruity hops, some biscuity malt in the background. Flavour is quite bitter and very fresh with again citrus, pine, grapefruity, lychee etc etc. Dry bitter hoppy citric finish. Awesome.

Keg Half Pint at Euston Tap, London in Aug 2012 - Cloudy Orangey Gold in colour. Very very Hoppy; piney resinous oily hops. Very Fruity; grapefruit citrus (tangy and rather pithy) and tropical fruits including mango. Malty backbone; caramel. Intense bitter hoppy fruity and quite dry throughout. Good IPA!

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange golden colour with a small head. Aroma of fresh lemon, grass and biscuit. Juicy flavour of orange, citrusy bitterness, straw and fruitcake. Medium bodied, a bit thin mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

On cask at Leyton Technical 8th Feb 14. Pours slightly hazy golden with a very flat, thin head, little to no fizz. Smells quite hoppy, but less than most modern west coast IPAs. Taste yo-yos between citrus-sugary sweet and bitter in a pleasing way. Medium hops linger for a short time on the finish, which is more pleasing than the taste. Light, refreshing body, and high ABV is well concealed, but I’m not overly convinced by the sweet taste, even if it was novel.

Pours amber/golden with a slight haze. Malty on the nose, with a touch of grapefruit coming through this also lingers into the taste but is soon kicked out of the way by a big hop finish. It becomes just a little one note this beer the longer you drink it. (rating backlog, tasted on or around 16/06/13)
