[ Trade by madmitch76 ]. Unclear medium to dark golden amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white - orange head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spicy, cardemom, blackcurrant, something tart ?, pepper, licorice - liquorice root (lakrids rod). Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, spicy, fruit - beery, peppery, orange fruity, fresh, overriped citrus, hoppy, citrus zest. Amazing i think this is fresh since i normal do not like spices in my beer !! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130716]

Taste comprises tarte orange, herbs, ginger, spices, light hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok for the style I guess - nothing I’d be looking to revisit mind!

Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Nose of pepper and cardamon! Smooth palate with mild mild carbonation. Taste folllows the nose to a degree. The spices are somewhat subsumed by sweetish malt and a nice fruity - jammy tone. Touch of minty coolness. Semi dry finish. I was quite sure I wasn’t going to like this but the fruity tone ties everything together.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops and, first of all, a portent mixture of herbs. Bitter, herbal taste with notes of malt and hops. Very low carbonation. Rough aftertaste. interesting, but perhaps more as a medicament.
