Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spicy, cardemom, blackcurrant, something tart ?, pepper, licorice - liquorice root (lakrids rod). Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, spicy, fruit - beery, peppery, orange fruity, fresh, overriped citrus, hoppy, citrus zest. Amazing i think this is fresh since i normal do not like spices in my beer !! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
6th October 2012
Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Nose of pepper and cardamon! Smooth palate with mild mild carbonation. Taste folllows the nose to a degree. The spices are somewhat subsumed by sweetish malt and a nice fruity - jammy tone. Touch of minty coolness. Semi dry finish. I was quite sure I wasn’t going to like this but the fruity tone ties everything together.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops and, first of all, a portent mixture of herbs. Bitter, herbal taste with notes of malt and hops. Very low carbonation. Rough aftertaste. interesting, but perhaps more as a medicament.
