@ Bishop Mollbergs HBG. Tropiska toner av humlen, mycket sötma. Kunde varit bättre fyllighet i kroppen.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bought from Brothers Beer. Pours a rather amber colour, interesting for an IPA to say the least. A slight let down with this beer would be the finish, and an excessive amount of alcohol. Not overly pleasant to drink to be honest. Up your game Maelstrom.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, bought @Havnens Vin og Tobak, Vejle. Pours murky dark amber with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has sweet malts, lemon zest, bergamot, kongen af Danmark, light cheese. Lowish carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, heather notes, lemon. Softly vinious. Some cheesy notes. Average.

Am impressive combination of old and new world ingredients that manages to make a strong beer seem way less so. This is both a good and a bad thing. It’s good to drink - but easy (and dangerous) to have too much

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 0.33. Aroma is citrus, sweet malty notes, noticeable notes of alcohol. Clear, orange copper, small head, but leaves nice lacing.
Medium sweet quickly coming into bitterness, which is quite strong and leaves long, quite astringent aftertaste. Alcohol noticeable in taste. Bit oily, low carbonation. Can’t say I enjoyed it, I’d say it’s unbalanced.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL bottle poured into a tulip. Hazy copper and orange colour with a large white to off white head that dissipates pretty quick. Big citrus and pine aroma with some effervescence like freshly squeezed OJ. Taste is fairly well balanced, despite the heavy citrus and pine flavour this has a decent malt backbone. Booze is hidden well, interesting mouthfeel, sometimes oily and sometimes astringent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark orange pour with a small dirty head. Huge aromas of dank, wet dog, cat pee, pine, grapefruit, resin, caramel. It’s very boozy and unbalanced. It starts and ends very hoppy. If it got too warm it would be unpleasant.

330 ml bottle. #AAG. BB 31/08/15. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Hazy dark golden colour with a tiny off-white head.
Sweet dark fruity hoppy aroma. The flavour is sweetness, dark fruits, resiny hops, bitterness and sweet malt. Sweet and strong. Too dark and too sweet for me.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Brewdog. Amber orange, hazy, small white head. Aroma is syrupy orange, floral, resinous. Body is medium, low-ish carbonation for keg. Taste is astringent floral, plenty of booze up-front, tangy, fairly bitter hop character. Decent enough DIPA if a little unbalanced.
