Black color, with large frothy beige head. The aroma mixes roastiness with a suspicious sourness. Quite smooth, with good roasty flavor, accentuated, and resiny bitterness, but also some light sourness.
Probably once good, but lightly infected.

Bottled 330ml. Ales by Mail BB 11/2012 (bought 02/13). Dark brown color, big brownish head. Aroma is slightly musty, chocolate and dust. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, cocoa, slightly milky but also a bit tart and ashy. Maybe a bit past its prime, not easy to say how good it could be.

Medium to big sweet flavor, chocolate syrup, dark bread, light baking cocoa, faint earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Tap at CPK - London. Pours brown with a foamy beige head. Very pleasant lacto roast aroma. Medium sweet flavor with sturdy roast, some mocha, light tobacco. Delicious. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Medium sweet finish with great milk chocolate character, some dirt, more tobacco. Outrageously smooth and creamy. Delectable. (4.2)
