Cask from The Ale House, Chelmsford. This is a delicious, easy to drink milk stout. Very dark with a good head - no beer could look better! Thick, excellent texture. Milk chocolate aroma. Best beer of the year so far...

Keg at barley mow Bristol.
Pours dark brown with hazy tan head, roast barley and licorice nose. Light carbonation, medium bodied with roast barley, chocolate, coffee and long lactose sweet finish. So much better than mikkeller’s!

Cask at Maltings. Pitch black with a thin brown head. Amazing cafe latte nose, slight dark chocolate and just a touch of roast malt. Gorgeous silky smooth, roast flavours with a massive milk chocolate front and a slightly roast, liquorice finish. This is phenomenal.

Cask @ London Drinker Beer Festival 2014. An awesome stout, very milky, chocolately and silky smooth. Beer of the festival for me.

The aroma of dark malt and roasted malt. The taste is quite sweet and roasted malt, chocolate and dark malt. Moderately bitter which fills the upper part of the mouth of a weak moment. Wonderful and easy to drink beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

WYGLĄD: Barwa brązowa, zmętnione. Piana drobna, krótka, oblepia szkło. AROMAT: To co lubię, czyli dużo mlecznej czekolady w aromacie, wyraźny kokos, słodkie kakao, delikatna kawa, piernik. SMAK: Czekolada, czekolada i jeszcze raz czekolada plus kokos. Skojarzenia z Samuel Smith’s "Organic Chocolate Stout" lub baton "Bounty". Minimalna paloność i goryczka. Alkohol świetnie ukryty. Bardzo pijalne. Udany sweet stout.

[cask at the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Black pour with a generous bubbly beige head. Aroma of sweet mocha, toasted malt. Lovely rising sweetness on the palate, the beer starts off roasty but becomes almost toffee-like in its sweetness. There are hops in there as well, a slight resinous quality that works really well with the sweet, almost creamy finish. Reminded me a bit of Teleporter. Fantastic [09052012]

On tap at The Craft Beer Co. Brighton. Black with cream head. Sweet, but not overly so, like these can be, creamy, loads of chocolate malts, there is a burnt note coming through to the tongue with a bitterness to balance the creamy note. Full and a pleasure to drink.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Cask at The Rake, London. Pours dark brown with a small, beige froth head. Dark malt nose, some milk chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavor, chocolate syrup, dark bread, light baking cocoa, faint earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky finish, lots of milk chocolate, very faint lacto notes, dark sugars. Good balance, very tasty. (3.8)

Tap at CPK - London. Pours brown with a foamy beige head. Very pleasant lacto roast aroma. Medium sweet flavor with sturdy roast, some mocha, light tobacco. Delicious. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Medium sweet finish with great milk chocolate character, some dirt, more tobacco. Outrageously smooth and creamy. Delectable. (4.2)
