Bottle at The Victoria, Birmingham. Really very good indeed. Thick, juicy hops which roll around your mouth like marbles. Full flavoured from nose to tail. Like it ale ot.

330ml bottle. Hazy dark orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of tangerine, kumquat, grapefruit and pine, a slightly herbal overtone, some buiscuit in the caramely malt basis. Taste is herbal hoppy with a strange spicy touch that overstrains my ability of description, kind of soapy coriander or so. Overall OK.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wine; clear golden amber pour with thin white head, big grapefruit and pine hop aroma, the aroma comes through in the taste with slight caramel and good level of bitterness for an APA. Very enjoyable.

Cask conditioned air pressure Euston Tap London 12/03/13. A golden beer with a white head and lace. A pleasant but sharp hoppy nose. Bitter hops in the mouth but an uncomfortable biscuity edge which doesn’t work. The aftertaste is wrong.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

BBE 30 Jun 2013 - Pours dark orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma of piney hops, hints of grass and caramely malts. Taste is grassy, hoppy and bitter with piney notes and caramely malts. Finish is dry and bitter with some long lasting grassy hoppiness and hints of pine. Okay, a bit one-dimensional but still quite tasty APA.

Cask conditioned at The Euston Tap, Euston, London. Hazy gold with white head. Big hop flavours going on with this, grapefruit bitterness with lemon pith and sharp gooseberry, full on the palate and very tasty. Lots of carry through, drying. Very good.
