Pale Ale
Oregon is our West Coast Pale Ale, brewed with lashings of US Cascade hops. This zingy pale ale has grapefruit, sherbet, spicy floral & citrus notes, all set against a surprisingly robust malt body to bring mouthfeel & sweetness to balance this very moreish hop forward American Pale Ale.

Bottle from the bierkoning, BB July 30th. Hazy gold pour with no head. Aroma is hoppy, piney, resinous hops, honey, light citrus, grapefruit, a bit of pineapple. Taste is bitter, very hoppy, almost no malt flavor, very light malt, lots of pine, quite bitter but not over the top. Palate is light bodied, slightly aggressive carb. Good.

Keg. Slightly hazy honey gold ale with a thick wild cream head. Hoopy nose with tangerines, orange, lemon, mangoes. Taste is well balanced and malty. Warm. Heavy bitter zing imparting lemons, grapefruit and burnt mango. Finish is long lasting and fruity.

Keg at Draft House. Two tone orange, cloudy and pale, slightly sparkling, foamy white head sits very neatly on top. Aroma - malt, orange pith, grapefruit, light lemon. Body is medium, quite foamy, carbonation is fairly spritzy. Taste is soft watery citrus (particularly grapefruit), light bitterness. Light and one dimensional flavour, but an easy drinker.

Bottle. Clear, amber color, no head. Medium aroma of citrus and some perfumes. Dry taste with grassy, bitter ending. Unbalanced, but bitterness is becoming a bit unpleasant. Carbonation is too high, long, grassy bitterness. Nice, but i expected more.

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of Dennoman. Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is fairly buttery, citric, vegetables and grassy. Flavor rather bitter in a strange way, some woody notes, earthy touches and not really refreshing. The bitterness misses some crispy notes in it, very bland and rather boring actually.

Bottle shared thanks to Dennoman. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, light weedy hops and caramel malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
