Bottle at The Victoria, Birmingham. Really very good indeed. Thick, juicy hops which roll around your mouth like marbles. Full flavoured from nose to tail. Like it ale ot.

Brewed with lots of Cascade hops this is a delicious Pale Ale with a bright golden colour and aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. The palate is pure oranges, oranges and more oranges! Crisp and refreshing, moreish and orangey!

Draft at the Euston Tap, London. Refreshing! Aroma of pleasant citrus that is matched on the tongue with pleasant bitterness that’s not overpowering like it can be with English ale brewers using American hops. So bitter, but balanced overall. Taste of grass and citrus, a good summer beer.

Svesse (6065) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2012
(Draught at MacKinlay’s, Stockholm) Amber colour with brief, frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, dried apricots, resin and a touch of yeast. Malty, fruity taste with crystal malt (slightly sharp), citrus, dried apricots, resin, a spicy touch of yeast and generous doses of resinous, citric hops in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Very tasty and quite complex. Lovely beer.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2014 1) Keg, Euston Tap, Lahndahn, 25/11/12. Misted orange gold with a dense lacing foam. Passion fruit, lemon icing, pineapple wine gum aroma. Good zesty lemon oil bitterness, flowers, G+T freshness. Mid bitter finish. Nutty hints. Well balanced, perfumed, hoppy stuff. 2) Bottle, Beer Gonzo. Gauzy orange blonde wafting with sickbowl, grapefruit and botanical marmalade hop. Dry and rasping with floral, grapefruit and lime zest hop over nutty pale malt. Good but unexceptional. 737314.
