Pale Ale
Oregon is our West Coast Pale Ale, brewed with lashings of US Cascade hops. This zingy pale ale has grapefruit, sherbet, spicy floral & citrus notes, all set against a surprisingly robust malt body to bring mouthfeel & sweetness to balance this very moreish hop forward American Pale Ale.

This is going down particularly well with some Digger Barnes. I’m going to return the favour by giving Owen some DFL. Lost Cause.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Had this many times at the Bat and always good on keg here. Never had in bottles tho as many here have... Always a pleasure this one. Easy, fruity goodness all round with that cheesy undercurrent that’s hard to nail. Hazy orange, sitting in a bright window on a summer’s afternoon. Funky fruit and summer breezes. Cool and still musky fruit pond in sunshade. Tickle on back of knees. Orchards on acid.

Keg at Crown and Anchor. Pours a hazy orangy colour with thin white head. Aroma is slight tropical fruit with a slight cat piss edge and some mild funkiness. It's pretty good. Some pineapple, grapefruit and a dry bitter finish. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle, served in Shaker. Pours hazy orange with small/medium lating white froth. The aroma is orange peel, citrus and hints of caramel and pine. Smells so good. Similar taste, one just gets some yeasty notes added to the rest. Dry palate, spicy touch. Medium body, good carbonation. Good job, very balanced.

Cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh. Pours light hazy gold, foamy white head. Aromas of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange and grapefruit, light resin. Taste brings more of the same, quite rich and satisfying. Creamy, and with a clean finish. Good.

Hazy amber with a large head.
Hoppy aroma with lots of citrus; oranges and grapefruit.
The taste is loads of grapefruit with hints of banana leading to a long bitterness.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2014 Alluring "West Coast" aroma and full bodied nicely balanced flavour with an enticing "watermelon" (to my taste) twist.

330mL bottle poured into a tulip. Beautiful effervescent copper colour with a large white head that leaves some nice lacing. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma and flavour. The mouthfeel is a little too astringent like a glass of berocca, but still very enjoyable.
