Can’t make my mind up about this - tastes a little like homebrew, all hop bitterness and no balancing aroma or flavour. Needs a bit more oomph in carbonation too - not bad though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Strawberry tea dominated by resin and geranium, some eau de Cologne as well. Quaffable, body not too full, medium bitterness, medium intense flavour. Very quaffable. Oh, did I already write that? Nevermind. Very quaffable indeed.

Cask at the Euston Tap listed as 5.8%, according to their website this is Rouge Red Hop Ale but I guess this is the right beer. Pours mid brown with a thin white head. Hoppy pine aroma, sweet finish. Close your eyes and this is an IPA.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 11/06/14. Clear deep amber/golden with a well appointed beige head that stays for the show. Nose is caramel malt, orange, earthy hops, mineral twang, red grapefruit. Taste comprises blood orange, dusting of pine, juicy hops, grapefruit, caramac bar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, juicy hop bitterness in the close. Decent hoppy amber.

Cask at Euston tap. Hazed amber orange coloured pour with a lasting loose greyish off white head. Aroma is big berry fruit, spicy herbal hop. A bit unusual but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Flavour is nutty, light caramel malts, spicy grassy hop. Some grainy tanin in the finish. Bitterness is assertive and grassy / citrus in nature. Slightly rough. Palate is semi sweet and chewy, low carbonation. Nice stuff.
