[cask at the Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh] Clear golden beer with a decent white head. Big lemony citrus aroma, followed by a very similar flavour. Got that Summer Wine zingy bitterness about it. A cracking Citra beer, before the long dry finish there’s a touch of sweet pineapple, but this is like drinking a lemon Starburst. Congratulations to Barry and Mrs Barry

Keg @ Inn Deep. Hazy golden amber colour, not much head. Biscuit, tropical & citrus fruit aroma. Spicy bitter biscuit, citrus fruit & resin flavour. Very bitter aftertaste. A very bitter blonde beer.

On cask at The Bow Bar. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. A Citra hop aroma of pine, pineapple, lemon and caramel. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Nicely bitter with lingering pineapple and caramel again.

Aroma: Dry, lemony and hoppy (Citra?). Reminds me of Fyne Ales’ Jarl.
Appearance: Hazy, golden body with a small white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing.
Taste: Soft lemon flavour. Like Jarl, but with more of a malty backbone. Lingering bitterness.
Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. Flat carbonation.
Overall: A decent ale, but completely lacking in carbonation and, in my opinion, character of flavour. Good but not great.
