Cask; Regular.
A Rich Dark Porter brewed with 10 different malts giving a sweet roast richness that is balanced with just enough hop character. This ale has a surprising drinkability for it’s colour and abv. Don’t let the sumptuous roast malt fool you, this porter is seriously potent & has the potential to take you to another place...

Cask at the Euston tap.always good for a tick. Clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a creamy lasting light tan head. Attractive beer. Aroma milky coconut, toast, praline and cream. Flavour is composed of sweet coconut cream, toast, tangy dried fruits and a little woody note. Palate is full and milky, low carbonation. Smooth on the tongue. Lingering woodland berry and smooth dark roast. Good stuff.

On tap. Pours black with a nice head. Aroma and taste typical for porters, nothing special, although I drank it with a pleasure.

Pours a rich black with a healthy tan head. Lots of chocolate, caramel, biscuit, and general malt in the aroma. Flavor is a little like melted chocolate ice cream or chocolate mousse. Very creamy and chocolaty with vanilla and a touch of caramel. Full body and a nicely smooth finish.

Bad luck that I had it side by side with the gorgeous Mokko, by the same brewery. Ruby black, with hardly any aroma, but a sour whiff of yogurt. Flavours are multi-layered, with chocolates, malts, coffee, liquorice, and the body is jsut on the thinner side. Still a lovely porter, only dwarfed by its sweet stout sister.

Pint at the Euston Tap with Zuz. Almost black in colour. No head. Glorious coffee and dark chocolate nose. Very light mouthfeel, very quaffable. Very complex roast malt flavour with a hint of Nutella and fresh ground Colombian coffee.
