COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A Rich Dark Porter brewed with 10 different malts giving a sweet roast richness that is balanced with just enough hop character. This ale has a surprising drinkability for it’s colour and abv. Don’t let the sumptuous roast malt fool you, this porter is seriously potent & has the potential to take you to another place...

Dark opaque brown color, big cloudy brownish head. Ashy, some licorice, maybe caramel. Medium-bodied. Light roastyness, caramel, some vegetables. Quite mild.

Cask at Gallows bird. Pours near black (clear, deep dark red) with frothy tan head. Slightly oily mouth feel, roasted malt and burnt sugar in taste. Very low carbonation and short aftertaste.

As real ale at Kitty’s in Helsinki. Black, big bubbly head. Roasted coffee. Light sweetness and medium bitterness. Very smooth and drinkable. My first real ale in a long time, so probably that raises my points a tad.

On tap at Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Black - no real surprise there. Weak coffee aroma and a really smooth feel. Taste is coffee malt but mild and drinkable. Lacks complexity but a nice beer.

Black with essentially no head (a little beige foam around the side of the glass). Aroma of roast malt and strong, black coffee. Taste was nice enough, light sweet, bitter finish. A bit thin on the palate, light oily texture, low carbonation. I wish it was a bit thicker & with a bit more body. Pleasant enough, but could have a bit more going on; a little one-dimensional.

Clear black-brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, molasses and rum notes. Quite bitter flavour, cacao and roasted malts. Finish coffee and roasted malts. Brilliant name, teleporter.
(From 33cL bottle @ weekly tasting, Benzai’s place. Thanks for sharing, Rene!)

Bottle [thanks to jmgreenuk!] Shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Martinus. Very dark brown color with a deep dark red glare coming through, medium sized tan head that leaves good lacing. Smell and taste malts, slightly a touch of hops, bitter, dark malts, roastyness. Quite nice. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai thx to benzai. Black colour with some ruby redness shining redness, medium sized off-white head. Smells dark malts, chocolate, slightly roasty, some alcohol, some tar. Tastes very roasty, coffee, dark malts, coal, wood. Soft carbo, thin to medium body.

Interesting aroma of chocolate, coffee and caramel. The taste is however very thin. Bad for such an aroma.

Very malty almost too much though as it kills other flavors. Very dark color and caramel head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
