Cask; Regular.
A Rich Dark Porter brewed with 10 different malts giving a sweet roast richness that is balanced with just enough hop character. This ale has a surprising drinkability for its colour and abv. Dont let the sumptuous roast malt fool you, this porter is seriously potent & has the potential to take you to another place...

Draught at the Euston Tap. Pours black with a small tan head. Taste is of malt, chocolate, a little coffee and bread. Sweet and smooth with a slightly hoppy finish. Seems complex and is very drinkable but perhaps a bit too mild to be interresting. Well, to me anyway.

330ml bottle. Dark brown-black colour, foamy beige head leaving lacing and aroma of toasted smokey roast malt. Taste is smoke, roasted, malty, biscuit, red berry fruits, chocolate, coffee and earthy bitterness. Smoothish mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, roasty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Dark chestnut colour with a red tinge. Lots of roast malt on the nose. Some dark chocolate. Lighter on the palate. Hints of coffee grounds with more burnt malt and a quite assertive bitterness. Medium weight mouthfeel.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark, reddy brown. Filmy, tan head. Woody, light roast coffee, malt. Quite earthy. Taste is dry, and roast coffee bitter. Thin palate. Finishes dry, and light bitter.

Bottle. Rather crisp for a porter, tastes like roasted cookies with blueberry and chocolate filling. Which means its rather pleasant.

330ml bottle from Beermoth. Pours black with tan head. Decent chocolatly porter, expected more of a malty texture but its a decent taste with a thin roasted character.

5% ABV. Porter. Nice thick light brown head, hangs around just long enough to whet the appetite. Nose is so fragrant you can smell it across the table, full of malty umami promise. Sweet tang of alcohol. Very complex first mouthful. Lightly carbonated, enough to be entertaining without being silly. There is a pleasant even-tempered and even good natured greeting featuring hints of charcoal, with some sweet flavor notes that are reminiscent of burnt ends. Well balanced malty body that is not sweet, not cloying, not sour...well-balanced. The palate finishes off with a hint of rice. Overall a very restrained effort producing a clean, amazingly interesting complex of flavors, palates and tongue textures. Wasnt going to ruin this wonderful ride by making a reference to Minoh Stout, but will have to because my unconscious palate keeps telling me to. SWBs Teleporter stands on its own. Going on my favorites list.
