Cask@The Elm Tree, Cambridge. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is slightly sour wood, some syrup, mild maltyness as well as some mild seaweed. Flavour is fruits, wood, some grass and mild earthyness.

Cask Conditioned handpump Slug & Lettuce Leicester. An amber coloured beer with a white head and lot of lace. Some tired fruit in the aroma suggesting perhaps this is not at its best. Richer and fruitier in the mouth. Not a ton of character but it’s OK.

On gravity at Worcester Beer Festival, 14/08/10. Chestnut coloured with a slight, off-white head. A malty bitter with some sweet caramel flavours and short, bitter finish. Ok.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2010 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Mid gold with a small white head. Faint aroma developed into malt and pear drop. Taste began sourish, soon overlaid with a pleasing golden syrup sweetness with some background grain. Some bitterness. Surprisingly good. 10.7.10 Same location. Noted a hint of cider, not apple, in the aroma. Rough malty taste. Good sessioner with lots of flavour. Rated 7,4,6,4,13:3.4

Thre judges on cask. Aroma ia floural, slight plastic, vinous ans rasin. Taste is pale malt, fruit, honey, grainy malt, flourl, grassy hints, ovr ripe fruit, slight alc hints. My god god i payed rto much attention to this beer!

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Smooth caramel in mouth, caramel/hop aroma. Sweetish earthy caramel finish. Some dry earthy hop. Bit like a Camerons beer. Not my style, but the hops are good.
