COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summit has brewed an exclusive beer just for the Muddy Pig pub. The beer has been dubbed 10³ Anniversary IPA (because 10 cubed is 1,000 -- duh). This is Muddy Pig’s 1,000th different beer on tap and their 10th anniversary. The special beer was made on Summit’s new pilot brewing system, which allows the brewery to experiment with small batches. It contains 10 malts and 10 varieties of hops.

Tap at the Pig, of course. Dark copper with a medium head. Caramel and biscuity aroma. Fairly floral hop nose. Moderate to strong bitterness right away on the taste. Caramel and dry brown sugar. Piney and slightly dank hops. A bit muddled, as a lot of 10 or 12 or 15 hops and malts beers tend to be. Pretty tasty though.

Tap at Muddy Pig. Rich orange amber pour with a white head. Big, rich, complex hop profile with plenty of malt backing. Very tasty!

On draught at the Muddy Pig in St Paul, MN. Pours a semi-hazy copper amber colored brew with a decent sized beige head that slowly dissipates and has some nice lacing. Aroma of sweet multi-grain malt, tropical fruit, some pine, a hint of prunes and some light brown sugar. Taste is full bodied, some slight astringent, with flavors of tangerines, caramel malt, a hint of figs and citrus zest. Multi-directional malt profile. Finish has a fruity and mild bitter aftertaste that quickly disappears followed by barleywine maltiness.

On tap at the Muddy Pig. Pour looks like a barleywine with a nice light tan head. Deep amber in color with a citrus nose. Taste is like an explosion of hop ninjas in your mouth! Bitter goes to more bitter with hops - a bit soapy on the finish. The 10 malts are pretty subdued. The brewers were aiming for 10% ABV, but only hit 7%, so 10^2.7? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
