3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear amber with a medium lasting off white head. Aroma of toffee, citrus, bead and pine with a hint of spice. Medium velvety body with lively carbonation. Flavor of caramel, bread, citrus, and pine with hints of wood and spice. A good pale ale, and a perfect everyday beer. It’s nice to have this one available nearly everywhere in MN. Very good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (thanks Badgerben). Pours clear amber with a small creamy off-white head that last well and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is mild, sweet with a little clover and floral hoppiness. Flavor is also mild but pleasant, sweet somewhat caramelly with a nice hop finish. Light to medium body and lively carbonation. Quite good summer cooler and my first Minnesota beer!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Has a amber color with a decent foamy head. Smells like most pale ales. More bitter than most pale ales which I appreicated. Starts and finishes dry and bitter. Very solid beer, and a even better pale ale.

Just found a supplier in metro Detroit (Grosse Point Woods) and am thrilled to see this beer make its way further east.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sparkling, amber/orange with thin bubbly white head. Smells sweet and malty, straw (I can see that), and some citrus. Tastes nice and bitter but quite smooth. This is OK, not too much toward the hops but wish there were some other elements than grapefruit peel.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sparkling clear, deep golden ale. Nice aroma of butterscotch, straw and bisquit. The flavor is well-balanced. Medium-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy bitter-sweet finish. Another nice effort from Summit!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A serviceable pale that went with turkey and grilled veggies for a most wonderful lunch. Light cream head and some cream in taste that was otherwise dry, with citrus hops taste and dry aftertaste. Thanks pigfoot.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: from friend playing bass on tour with Carina Round, across North America (probably part of rider in Minneapolis) and consumed in his hotel room in West Hollwood, Los Angeles. Nice middle of the road beer. Soft and sweet at the very start, lilting into a sharpish and slightly bitter finish, which is satisfyingly full, though fairly short. Some fruit notes (lime and orange). Pretty good - reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

A decent extra pale, pours quite light colored with lot’s of bubbles that comes through in the palate. A very good selection for early summer drinking enjoyment.
