COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summit Extra Pale Ale is not a beer brewed only for beer snobs. Just the opposite. It’s a beer for everyone to enjoy: construction workers, stock brokers, farmers, sales people, clerks, teachers, lawyers, doctors, even other brewers. Its light bronze color and distinctly hoppy flavor have made it a favorite in St. Paul, Minneapolis and the rest of the Upper Midwest ever since we first brewed it back in 1986.

Very bitter ale with a light straw color. Good for cutting through strong spicy foods that this goes well with.

From my backlogg: Sample at Great British Beer Festival 2014. Clear golden beer with an offwhite head. Fruity hoppy citrus caramell aroma. Fruity hoppy grassy flavour.

Tap at a twins game. Orange gold pour. Nose is light piney hops and pale malt. Tastes of pine, caramel, straw, pale malt, and some citrus. Light earthy aftertaste. Rather plain but drinkable and enjoyable on fine day for ballgame

This is a good pale ale, but it is not quite as good as Boulevard’s Pale Ale.

Pours a medium gold with a white head and lacing. It has a mild aroma if spicy and earthy hops. The flavor is mild hops and malt up front with a balanced finish over a medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 5/24/15. Bottle courtesy of Espo. This one was ok ... Just an average extra pale ale with very little hops & a pretty bland overall flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rich orange-gold, moderate head. Smell is some caramel and toffee, flavor is much the same with some roasted notes and crisp hop freshness. A good standard ale.

Draft in Minneapolis. Pours a clear, orange caramel with a white head that sticks. Aroma is faint with hints of pine, caramel, and traditional hops. Taste is balanced. Mild caramel, hints of pine, resin, citrus, and more traditional hops. Medium body and carbonation. Clean with a very alight resin texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a pretty standard brew but great after a flight from Toronto to Minneapolis!
