COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summit Extra Pale Ale is not a beer brewed only for beer snobs. Just the opposite. It’s a beer for everyone to enjoy: construction workers, stock brokers, farmers, sales people, clerks, teachers, lawyers, doctors, even other brewers. Its light bronze color and distinctly hoppy flavor have made it a favorite in St. Paul, Minneapolis and the rest of the Upper Midwest ever since we first brewed it back in 1986.

perfect minnesota beer. never boring, great poured or in the bottle, best out of a good fresh tap, a great example of what a small commercial beer can be.

Draft. Pours orange with off white head. Good lacing. Nose is some citrus. Taste is a moderately bitter with citrus notes. Some caramel. Mildly bitter finish. Good standard pale ale.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Pine and citrus on the nose with a little malt as well; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some light malt notes.

Drank from a hotel bar on draft -- Only "local" brew that was on top. This beer was pretty good. Sptrizy in flavor and mouthfeel. Definitely a beer that could be enjoyed in large quantities. Enjoyable for a beer that you drink and don’t realize you’re drinking it.

Copper color with caramel malts in the aroma. Taste is malty with a bit of nutty flavor, similar to a brown ale. Light hop bitterness. Very drinkable.

Another excellent pale ale. First I have had from this brewer. Nice and hoppy and crushable. Pours orange in color an smells hoppy. Had at Ruth kris. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A favorite since I arrived in the Twin Cities. A solid pale ale, more in the British style than American. About the best to my taste since Molston Pedigree.

Bottle. Light barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Okay - standard.

A bit darker than I would expect from an extra pale. Lemon and berry on the nose, bread and citrus on the palate. Medium body and a lingering bitter finish. I'd do it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into a tulip glass. Pour is a copper amber. Aroma is grasses and bubble gum. Taste is full yet crisp malt. Finish is very clean.
